I was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, a country that has a population of 64,600,000. Thais are 95% Buddhist, 4% Muslim, and 1% Christian and other faiths. I was a Buddhist.
I was educated in the renowned schools and university in Thailand. After finishing my Bachelor’s degree, I was ordained to be a Buddhist monk by the Highest Supreme Monk. Our traditional belief is that when a man over twenty years old becomes a monk, he is doing it not only for himself but also for his parents and family. I was engrossed in Buddha’s Teachings, started practicing meditation, felt peace and happiness, and wanted to be a monk for the rest of my life. I mentioned my desire to my mother, but she preferred that I live a normal person. I was a monk for one month. My master was a supreme monk who taught me every day.
My life after being a monk was fine. I was both sad and happy, both satisfied and dissatisfied. I held onto the Buddhist precepts which are “do not kil click to read more...

Hi,
My name is Charlie Borg, a fifty six year old man, born on the island of Malta but have been in Australia thirty seven years to date. This is my testimony of salvation and a witness as to the unfathomed, never ending love of God who is so Holy .
Going to church was the normal thing to do as a catholic kid living in a total catholic country. More than the normal child actually, since my dad was the church’s organist and tenor. I had hung around dad and since I can remember, always went with him to do the singing and the rest rain or shine, early mass, midnight celebrations at Chrismas and Easter tseasons etc. I remember from when I was knee high, standing beside him as he played the old Bellows (pump-up) organ and trying to sing. I recall him giving me dirty looks Which I could not understand, as I use to throw him out of key and many a times he would put his left hand on my mouth saying “stop singing, PPLLZZ yo click to read more...

(EVANGELIST KUNAL'S TESTIMONY)
EVANGELIST KUNAL MUKHERJEE was born of staunch Hindu Brahmin parent in West Bengal (India) in 1952. From his very childhood, he developed a tremendous curiosity to know God and the Supernatural power. For that purpose from an early age he started visiting many places of pilgrimage. He met many saints, monks, and priests of different religions. In course of time, he himself began to practice occultism, black magic and mysticism rigorously. Had developed an undebatable faith in astrology, & palmistry. Finally, as per advice of a friend, he accepted a guru (mentor) at Rishikesh (Uttaranchal, India) at the age of thirty nine. He had even fled home three times to take Sanyas.
His life was not consistent. He also developed a very bad habit of drinking. Even had visited wrong places at times. In between, in Nov.’81 click to read more...

Hello my name is Eric Alan Marx and I would like to share how I became a born-again Christian. I wasn’t raised in a Christian home, as a young child we sometime said prayers at bedtime like “if I die before I wake the lord my soul to keep, please watch over mommy, brother, daddy, doggy, etc. amen”. The first I knew anything about Jesus or God was from Christmas records or the record Jesus Christ Superstar. Then when I lived in Kansas City, Missouri I went to a Seventh- Day Adventist School when I was six and seven for First Grade. I learned about the Bible and some of the nice stories in the old testament, like Jonah and the whale and Jacob’s ladder. I couldn’t eat meat at school, but I don’t remember doing much else with the Seventh Day Adventists outside of school. My next year of second grade we lived in the same place, but I attended a different school, a public school. The rest of my school years I never learned anything about God, Jesus, or about the Bible in school. But God want click to read more...

Experience of a new life of redemption through the Blood of the Lamb and forgiveness of sins came to KUNAL MUKHERJEE -(one born of staunch Hindu Brahmin parents in West Bengal) at the age of 42 in a miraculous way on 31st May 1994. Despite having everything in the world - so to say, big jobs, well-to-do family, high education, chequered status and position in the society — Kunal did not have one thing: PEACE. By virtue of his upbringing in religious ambience, Kunal developed in him an unquenchable hunger to know God and the supernatural power. That longing for God, made him ramble around the whole country from pillar to post. Visited all the renowned places of pilgrimage. Had many inter-personal discourses on Religion, Spirituality, and Divinity et al with many prominent saints, monks, and priests of varied religious strata. Had even gone into the vortex of personally practicing occultism, black magic and utmost banalities of mysticism. Dissatisfied at every endeavor, Kunal finally acc click to read more...

The year was 1991 and I was a twenty-one year old Atheist. Although I had been baptized at birth in the Methodist church, GOD had become just a myth to me. I had no need to seek Him because I knew all the answers. Then I met Terri. For the first time in my life I cared for someone other than myself. Yet she was a Christian and I was an Atheist. But GOD had a plan to tear down my old self and rebuild a new self.
I had never thought much about my own mortality. My inevitable death wasn’t real to me. But in the summer of 1992, all of that changed. One day, I was at work and suddenly felt strange. I began to feel dizzy and nervous. I had to go home. I quickly got worse and became convinced that I was dying. For two weeks, I lay in a darkened room waiting for my heart to stop. Finally, though I didn’t really believe, I started to ask GOD for help. “Please help me GOD, I don’t wanna die”. For the first time in my life, I really wanted to live. Terri’s love click to read more...

A bit of family background! I was born in 1989, in Swansea, and was brought up in a non-Chrisitian family. My parents did go to Sunday School as children, but that was because they were forced to and opted not to go again when they had the decision. I also have a brother who was in exactly the same spiritual position as me - dead!
I went to my primary school as a kid (like every other kid in the UK). There was one particular day I remember hearing about Christianity. I don’t remember much about the talk, but I remember the scene because I was wearing a Fireman Sam outfit then. Nothing really spiritually significant happened from then on until the age of 8. As a normal child, I was in my kitchen waiting for dinner when there was a knock on the door. It was my next door neighbour. He, as well as his family, were Chrisitians but both of our families got on so well together. Anyway, back to the story.
He had came over t click to read more...

About six months ago I had some dreams about Jesus Christ and the nature of the world. I say ‘dreams,’ but they were not ordinary dreams. Basically I woke up knowing that the whole Jesus Christ story was true. I walked around in a daze for a couple of weeks, wondering how on earth to tell the people around me what had happened.
I googled what had happened to me and was amazed to find heaps of people who’d experienced similar things (have a look!). Finally I started talking, and also got in contact with an old friend from high school who I remembered was a Christian. Then I bought a Bible which I couldn’t put down, and started going to church. I’d got that the story was true, but now the details were being filled in. I was (and am) quite critical about the accuracy of what anyone said or preached, and did my best to find what I consider the ‘most accurate’ Bible and church. It was quite a dilemma, but in the end I made a fairly educated choice.

Psalm 23: 4
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.”
On Saturday, July 2, 2005, we noticed that our next door neighbors were moving back into their house. They had rented it out for a few months, until the renter had gotten called to active military duty. Naturally, we offered to help them move back in.
We had just finished unloading the trailer, and I was out of breath…
Everyone was asking “Are you OK?” And I said, “Sure, I’m just out of shape.”
Returning home, the shortness of breath continued and started to worsen. After a few minutes of pacing around, I went into the dining room and put both arms on the back of one of the chairs and leaned forward.
Both arms ached and felt click to read more...
